The Thorne Avenue Lift Station is a new facility built in Saint John, NB, which is one of the largest sanitary wastewater (sanitary and stormwater flows in a partially combined sewer system) pumping stations in the Province. This lift station will convey approximately 70% of the total flow being delivered to the new Eastern Wastewater Treatment Facility through a 4.5 km long 600 mm diameter force main.
